We are looking to recruit a creative and energetic teacher for this successful department. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious teacher of Drama and Theatre Studies. Drama is a core strength of the School and recent productions have included A Monster Calls, Mary Poppins, The Lion King and The Comedy of Errors, as well as participation in the ‘Shakespeare in Schools’ Festival and NT Connections. This summer, there is a lower-school production of James and the Giant Peach. Plays are also regularly taken to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The successful candidate will have high standards, energy, excellent interpersonal skills, leadership potential and an infectious passion for the subject. There will be real opportunity to help develop the department and their own teaching.
The person appointed will also be expected to contribute fully to the boarding and co-curricular life of this thriving School. Warminster has its own salary scale, above national scales, and other staff benefits, including significant fee reductions for staff children.
