Maternity cover, full time, term time only from February 2020

This Drama Technician position will coordinate wardrobe requirements for our numerous school productions on a 35-week, term time only basis.  The 40 hours per week can be worked flexibly to accommodate other freelance roles.

Joining a lively, creative drama department, the role will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of costume design, production and management. The appointee will also assist the Theatre Manager with design and construction of sets, property management and lighting.  Applicants must have:

• A qualification in or experience of drama/theatre design

• strong sewing skills and an understanding of design, fashion and period clothing

• excellent organisational skills

• good teamwork and communication skills

• flexibility to work evenings and occasionally at weekends.
