Job overview
We are currently seeking a suitably qualified Drum Kit Teacher to join our team of visiting music staff.
Music plays a central role in the life of the school. Many students have individual instrumental and/or singing lessons and there is a thriving culture of involvement in extra-curricular music-making. There are numerous opportunities for students to perform both as instrumentalists and as singers, including our annual major production of a musical in Durham’s Gala Theatre.
Visiting music teachers are employed by the school and their work is organised and overseen by the Director of Music.
This a part time post – there are currently 2 students learning drums.
