Kimbolton School, founded in 1600, is the only independent school in the old county of Huntingdonshire and is now one of the leading schools within Cambridgeshire with strong academic performance and an excellent pastoral record. Set in over 100 acres of parkland and playing fields, the School currently educates in the region of 970 children aged 4-18 in a co-educational, predominantly day environment.
Required from January 2018, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational Drum Kit Teacher. The successful candidate will be an accomplished musician with the ability to coach young musicians, from ages 11 to 18, to the highest level through individual tuition. Although we seek a teacher to primarily deliver Drum Kit lessons, a willingness to lead an ensemble such as Corps of Drums would also be desirable. Applicants should be strong team players with excellent communication skills.
This appointment will, in the first instance, provide half a day of teaching per week (30 term time lessons per pupil per year), with the potential for further growth. In return we will pay £34.86 per hour, to include holiday pay.
