Wilmington Grammar School for Boys is a Good school with a strong track record of achievement. We are looking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and effective practitioner to join our successful Design & Technology department from April 2023.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the design and technology curriculum and how this can be taught in an inspiring way to maximise exam success, spark students’ passion for the subject, enabling students to achieve the highest possible standards. They should also be able to evidence a proven track record of high impact in teaching, learning and curriculum excellence, to support strong outcomes and learning experiences.
The closing date for applications is 9am on Friday 3rd February 2023 with interviews expected to take place week commencing Monday 6th February 2023, although applications will be processed as they arrive and an earlier closing date may be made before this.

Welcome to Wilmington Grammar School for Boys where we offer an exceptional education for boys aged 11- 16 and an extensive post 16 programme which is co-educational for students in the sixth form.

The school has an Engineering specialism and has developed some exciting links with business sponsors to ensure the curriculum is current and relevant to the rapidly changing needs of the workplace. Visits from alumnae help to ensure our students benefit from aspirational role models and can learn about the various routes and pathways available to them.
Consistently oversubscribed, the school has grown over the past few years and now has over 900 students.
