Job overview
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Art and Design Technician to provide practical support to the Art and Technology faculty ensuring that resources and classrooms are prepared for practical lessons and health and safety requirements are met.
You will be competent in using tools and equipment to complete Art and Design practical lessons and the have ability to prepare resources and equipment e.g. cutting fabric, weighing ingredients, cutting clay and organising materials for demonstrations. Knowledge of health and safety requirements and risk assessments would be advantageous however full training will be provided. You should be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communications skills and enjoy working with young people as part of a team.
