12.5 hrs per week – Term Time only (plus INSET days)

We are looking for an experienced DT Technician to join our team at Sir Thomas Boughey Academy. This is an exciting time for the Academy’s Technology Team as we promote collaborative working across the Trust with Clayton Hall Academy and Newcastle Academy.
You will work with accuracy, be a good organiser and most importantly be able to deliver to agreed timescales. You will be expected to show initiative and adopt a flexible approach to your work. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and hardworking, and someone who enjoys, even relishes, a school environment.

Staff turnover at Sir Thomas Boughey is incredibly low, which is largely due to the supportive, caring environment. We have a number of staff who were once students at the school and they were eager to return as teachers in order to continue to offer the support, care and guidance that they experienced as students. Staff development is also a key priority and we offer a comprehensive and bespoke CPL package. Being part of United Endeavour Trust also provides additional opportunities for collaboration and Continued Professional Development.
