We are looking for a part- time Dutch Teacher (0.6FTE) to join our Senior School Leidschenveen campus in The Hague.

If you are an ambitious, enthusiastic teacher with experience of teaching Dutch from absolute beginner level through to B1/B2 level courses, and you are determined to follow an international school career path, this position is the perfect match for you.

The Role:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Teacher of Dutch to join our large, friendly and diverse Modern Foreign Languages Department. At the Senior School Leidschenveen, all our students have the opportunity to learn Dutch. We have courses for students from beginner level through to native and near-native speakers. Our students work towards a range of qualifications including CNaVT (Certificaat Nederlands als Vreemde Taal) at a range of levels, and IB Dutch Language B (Standard and Higher Levels) and Language A (Language and Literature). As part of this role there is also an expectation of being fully involved in the development of the Modern Foreign Languages Department, sharing the values of life-long language learning, and participating in the running of extracurricular activities.

Work Experience:

  • Knowledge the British educational systems;
  • Experience of teaching towards a range of qualifications, preferably CnaVT, (awarded by the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven) and International Baccalaureate courses;
  • Be able to adapt your teaching to meet the international environment of the school;
  • Be confident integrating EdTech into your teaching or be willing to develop these skills.
