Job overview

Academy Sport and Leisure is looking for a full time Duty Officer with proven managerial/supervisory experience particularly in the management of swimming pools to join our small but effective team. You will play a major role in the continuing development of our sport and leisure facilities which include a Fitness Suite, Swimming Pool, Sports Hall, 3G Floodlit and Grass Pitches, Dance Studios, Spinning, Climbing wall and Conference facilities.

This key position involves working on a rota shift pattern based on an average of 35 hours per week and includes evenings and weekends. Your strengths will include the ability to lead, motivate and develop a small team to ensure excellence across all operational areas to ensure a high quality of customer service.

A Pool Plant Operators Certificate, NPLQ and First Aid qualification would be desirable, however training will be provided to the successful applicants.
