The Hawthorns School is a thriving day school for children between the ages of 2 and 13. Located on an idyllic 35-acre estate in Bletchingley, Surrey, our mission is to prepare each child for life and to inspire a love of learning.
We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Learning Support Tutor to work with SEND pupils aged 5-13. Lessons will be on a one-to-one basis and your work will include pupil assessments, writing and delivering personalised learning support plans (targets and outcomes), liaising with teachers and parents. You will work alongside other specialist tutors within a supportive team. Candidates will hold a Dyslexia qualification (Level 5 or equivalent) and have a warm approach, excellent verbal and written communication, experience of supporting dyslexic students inspire high standards and have a genuine desire to make a positive difference to pupils learning is essential.
