Salary Grade 6: £18,870 - £20,541
Actual Annual Gross Salary: £8,495 - £9,247

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic assistant to work with our staff team supporting bilingual (and multi-lingual) students across the school. The successful candidate will be working with both staff and students in various subject areas supporting the integration of beginner bilingual students, assisting with administrative tasks, monitoring the achievement of more advanced learners of English as an additional language and liaising with families and communities. We are looking for an individual who enjoys working with young people, has a flexible and positive approach and is able to work as part of a team.

The Cherwell School is a successful comprehensive school in Oxford, rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. The school has two sites which are located either side of the Marston Ferry Road and is often over-subscribed with 1990 students on roll (including 620 in the Sixth Form).
