EAL Teacher (maternity cover)

Part-time (4 mornings per week)

Required for 3 January 2018, for two terms. 

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced teacher of English as an additional language, with a genuine passion for the subject, who is able to support and encourage their students, and assist them in effective learning.

The role involves flexible one-to-one EAL support for a number of Key Stage 4 and 5 students.

The current post holder teaches 20 hours per week in four mornings (08.30 to 13.00), and whilst there is some flexibility with hours, senior school academic teaching takes place in the mornings only.

Salary (based on teachers’ pay scales) is dependent on qualifications and experience.

This is a maternity cover post offered as a fixed term contract for a period of 8 months or until the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.
