Job overview

This is an exciting full-time position for someone who has experience in working as a mentor for Early Career Teachers. The successful candidate must have good knowledge and experience of the induction process for those new to teaching and of the Early Career Framework. You will be leading a small, experienced team working as the appropriate body on behalf of Kent County Council, overseeing the induction and training for over 700 new teachers both in and outside of Kent. 

You must be an effective leader and communicator who can build relationships with school leaders and teachers locally and nationally. You must be confident in liaising with relevant agencies, such as the DFE and TRA, and able to work well under pressure. This is a great opportunity for the right person to lead an experienced, committed team into this next exciting phase of development, and a wonderful time to join The Education People as we grow our business nationally and internationally.

Interviews will be conducted on the mornings of 8th and 9th November 2021.
