We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our supportive, friendly and innovative team at Carpenters Primary School. We welcome creative and passionate staff who are prepared to take risks and have high aspirations for themselves, their team and the whole school community. 

Carpenters is immersed in diversity, culture and heritage. We are an inner city, multicultural, two-form entry primary and nursery school located in a prime location in Stratford - just a stone’s throw from the Olympic Park and Central London. We utilise the advantages that such a location offers us to inspire children’s curiosity, in & beyond the moment, through a focus on creativity, physical activity and emotional health and well-being.

You should demonstrate that you can:

• Plan and deliver high quality teaching and support for all pupils in your class;
• Work effectively as part of a year group/phase team to achieve excellent outcomes for all pupils;
• Assess and feedback to children effectively and use this information to inform your planning;
• Liaise effectively with colleagues, parents/carers, external agencies and other schools, as required;
• Work well as part of a team
