EARLY INTERVENTION SUPERVISOR

The Early Intervention Supervisor manages and implements the Early Intervention Service for families with children (age birth to five) with developmental delays and or social-emotional/ adaptive concerns. The postholder will assess and monitor the needs of families for early intervention, education, and support. The postholder supervises a team of Early Intervention Specialists and participates as a member of the Child Development Programme’s Leadership Team. The postholder will coordinate and organize parent education for families in the Early Intervention Service. The post holder will consult and collaborate with relevant allied professionals. This positions reports directly to the Coordinator of the Child Development Programme.
The post-holder must possess a Master’s Degree, or equivalent, in Special Education, Child Development, Psychology or a related field. The post holder must have a minimum of three (3) years’ post qualification experience working with families with young children. Supervisory experience is required. The post holder must have a valid driver’s license and provide own transportation.
This post is offered on a three year contract.
