Broadlands Bears is a brand new nursery that is part of Broadlands Academy – come and start your career with us in Early Years!

If you have a passion for early years education, can be equally enthusiastic about learning opportunities linked to dinosaurs as to princesses, aliens or a naughty elf; are able to help support opportunities for learning and progress whether inside or out come rain, hail or shine and love working as part of a team, you could be the person we are looking for!
You will from day one be part of a small team that will develop a brand new full day care provision for 30 children aged 2 and 5.
As our Early Years Apprentice you will support pupils in our Early Years setting to ‘become the best that they can be’ and help them work towards age related expectations by the end of their time in the Early years.
You will complete either a Level 2 or level 3 BTEC Certificate in Children and young people workforce. The work experience gained on the job will support this. Your Assessor will assess you in the workplace approximately every 4 weeks. In between these meetings you will have dedicated time away from your job to work on the apprenticeship and collate evidence for your apprenticeship e-portfolio with ongoing support from your Manager and Assessor.
This is an exciting opportunity to be in a real job within a supportive team, whilst working towards a qualification.
To be eligible for the Apprenticeship, applicants must have resided in the UK or EEA for 3 years prior to the start of the Apprenticeship and must not hold a level 4 (or equivalent) qualification or above. Please note: applicants must not be a graduate or have already completed a Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning within the classroom apprenticeship (depending on the level you are applying for).
This will be a fixed term contract for 15-24 months (depending on the Level of apprenticeship).
Please note: AET has their own in house apprenticeship scheme and do not work with any other training providers to deliver Apprenticeships.
