Rolfe’s Nursery School is an Ofsted Outstanding nursery school based in Notting Hill, London. Part of the Alpha Plus Group, we provide a Gold Standard education, preparing children for entry to prestigious London preparatory schools.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Assistant to join our team.

The Role
This is a class-based, supportive position and will involve but is not restricted to the following:
- Working as part of the school team to provide a safe, high quality early years environment for young children.
- Working under the direction of the Head and to give support to the teaching team within the nursery school.
- Supporting the existing teaching team with routines and organisational matters.
- Monitoring children's safety through appropriate levels of supervision.
- Commitment to continue to develop as a professional.
The role entails contributing to a high-quality caring environment for children, creating a friendly and stimulating atmosphere under supervision, in which the children can develop emotionally, socially and educationally through individual attention and group activities. Duties will include working with the children to meet the requirements of the EYFS framework and working as part of the team.
Requirements
To be considered for this position you must be willing to participate in other development and training opportunities. A relevant Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject e.g. Children’s Care, Learning and Development (CCLD) would be desirable but by no means essential.
