Early Years Assistant

We are currently seeking staff to join our team to work in our nursery provision at Cherry Tree Children’s Centre. If you enjoy working with children and are committed to making a positive difference in their learning and development, then this could be the job for you. 

Required qualifications and experience: Level 2 in childcare or experience of working with children aged 0-4 years Level 2 in childcare or experience of working with children aged 0-4 years.

Working pattern: full time, 35 hours a week (One position is for a set shift, working 5 days a week. The other position is for a varied shift, compressing hours to work 35 hours over 4 days with one allocated rest day each week. The allocated rest day will vary each week).

The children’s centre is open Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm for 48 weeks of the year. Cherry Tree belongs to a partnership of three centres that are managed by Rosendale Primary School and is part of The Great North Wood Education Trust.
