The Role:

As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and educational experiences to children. You will be responsible for planning and implementing activities that support the Early Years foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met. You will work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to create a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Provide high-quality care and activities for children, recognizing individual and group needs.

·        Ensure familiarity with key policies and procedures, including safeguarding, equal opportunities, and health and safety.

·        Work in partnership with Early Years professionals, such as Health Visitors and SEN services.

·        Support parents and families, encouraging their involvement in the nursery.

·        Participate in room and staff meetings, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery.

·        Identify developmental concerns and support children with additional needs.

·        Liaise effectively with outside professionals under the direction of the Senior SENCO.

·        Maintain a tidy and organized environment to support efficient use of time and high-quality standards.

Who You Are:

·        Experience working with children and families from inner cities and BAME communities.

·        At least two years of post-qualification experience in Early Years education.

·        Relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (e.g., NNEB, BTEC Diploma, NVQ Level 3).

·        Warm and enthusiastic personality with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·        Proven skills in planning and implementing high-quality experiences for children's development.

·        Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with parents, carers, and professionals.
