An exciting opportunity has arisen at Sandhill Primary School, part of The Shire Multi Academy Trust, for an inspirational Early Years Leader to join our school Senior Leadership Team and work in collaboration with our Trust Leaders. Our new Early Years Leader will motivate, support and develop our Foundation Stage team and ensure high achievement for all our Foundation Stage pupils.

The successful candidate will have the drive, passion and vision to inspire children’s learning and will have the opportunity to work within a leadership team to shape, lead and develop provision throughout the Early Years Foundation Stage.        

We are looking for: 

• An inspirational teacher with a proven track record of raising attainment within the Foundation Stage. 

• A thorough and excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum and assessment procedures and know how to effectively engage Foundation Stage children in their learning. 

• High expectations and an unwavering belief in the potential of every child. 

• Leadership experience and the skills and enthusiasm to inspire and lead others. 

• A flexible and positive approach to challenge and change. 

• Good interpersonal, communication and team building skills.  

This is an excellent opportunity for professional development for the right person to greatly contribute towards the improvement of the Foundation Stage and also play a role in the development of the whole school and trust.
