Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in the Ferryhill area. 

The successful Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) will be required to work 08:30- 12:30 Monday-Friday beginning in January 2020 on a medium-term basis.


The successful Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) will have excellent knowledge of working with children in Early Years, and sound understanding of the curriculum at this level. In addition, experience of supporting children with a range of SEND will be advantageous; with a passion for supporting children in reaching their full potential, by adapting your approach and catering for their varying needs. To be considered for the position of Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) you must:


Have experience supporting children in EYFS

Have experience supporting children with SEND

Literacy and numeracy intervention experience essential

Hold a Level 2 or above qualification in childcare

Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team

Have a passion for identifying children’s varying needs and adapting your approach to match
