In September 2018 Astrea Academy Sheffield will open its doors. Astrea Academy Sheffield will be the Astrea Academy Trust’s first all-through academy which will embody our vision for an education that truly ‘inspires beyond measure’, whilst representing a beacon at the heart of a part of the city undergoing significant regeneration.
The school will grow with its community and will reach capacity within four years of opening. When all year groups are filled, the school will accommodate the education and personal development of 1370 pupils right through from Nursery to Sixth Form.

The Early Years Leader will provide vision, and a dynamic and professional leadership to ensure the highest educational provision at Astrea Academy Sheffield, whilst maintaining the Academy ethos and embodying a passion for all through education. This truly unique role will see the Early Years Leader not only oversee the educational experiences and success of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, but those children preparing for their educational careers, in our nursery. They will lead, manage, motivate and inspire Astrea Academy Sheffield staff, building leadership capacity and identifying talent. The Head is responsible for creating a shared learning culture and positive environment through distributive leadership and an environment which enables everyone to work collaboratively, including being a key player in shaping the relationships within the community and beyond.
