We are looking to appoint an Early Years Leader to join our dynamic team from September 2018.


We wish to appoint an Early Years Leader who has at least four years teaching experience, and who:

• has the drive and energy to be an outstanding practitioner;

• leads by example, and is an inspiration to both children and staff;

• is committed to improving teaching and raising standards through the setting of high expectations;

• has a ‘toolbox’ of ideas to help improve our school, and the willingness to immerse themselves into the life of the school;

• is looking to develop leadership skills.

• release time to enable the successful candidate to be effective in their role.


Roles and responsibilities include:

• leading the Early Years Phase in St Matthew’s CE Primary School;

• teaching a class;

• monitoring the provision and outcomes for pupils;

• leading an area of the curriculum;

• providing training and support for individuals.
