Early Years Phase Leader

Salary Grade: Main Pay Scale with TLR 2

Salary Range: £28,660-£39,006 per annum

Required for January 2018

We are looking for a full-time Early Years teacher, to lead our Nursery and Reception Classes. The role is partially non-class based. It involves joining our ‘outstanding’ (Ofsted 2016) leadership team and engaging in our high-quality, developmental programme for aspiring school leaders. The school is in a soft-federation with another local Primary; the very experienced Head of Early Years at our partner school will offer weekly mentoring and support.

Drayton Park Primary is a happy, vibrant and creative school that encourages positive attitudes to learning and where staff, pupils and the wider community come together to provide the highest standards of education. In our last Ofsted (May 2016), we were graded ‘Good’ with some ‘Outstanding’ aspects.  We are based in the heart of north London, very near the Emirates stadium.

You are:

· Someone who loves helping our youngest children learn.

· An excellent teacher, keen to become even better.

· Committed to supporting and including the broadest range of pupils.

· Great at leading and developing colleagues, in a collaborative way.

· Committed to following the school’s policies and ethos, whilst helping us make them even better.

· Great at solving problems in positive ways.

· Good at using feedback and support to develop yourself.

· Committed to nurturing partnerships with parents and the wider community.

We offer:

· An ambitious commitment to learning for all.

· Pride in our diversity and sense of community.

· Great children who want to learn.

· Supportive management.

· A strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.

· A commitment to excellent professional development, both as a teacher and leader.

Visits to the school are encouraged and can be organised by contacting the school office on 020 7607 4142. The preferred time for a visit is 5-6pm on Monday 27th November.

Closing date: Sunday 3rd December, 2017.

Interview dates: Wednesday 6th December, 2017.
