Vision for Education are looking to employ a Catch-Up Teacher to support pupils within Reception with Phonics based learning. This role is based at one of our client schools in the Newcastle area and is set to commence in January 2022, working part time hours, 08:30-12:30. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position is Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

The role

The successful candidate will have a profound understanding of the Read, Write, Inc, Phonics Programme and be able to confidently deliver differentiated learning to a small group of pupils. The candidate must have an approachable manner and be supportive of all pupils learning, predominately targeting pupils’ early phonics development.

This is a larger than average provision set in the heart of Newcastle which is supported by a fantastic teaching team and Governors. The school are seeking to employ a teacher who is ambitious and can bring new and exciting ideas into the school setting with the view to make a positive impact on the education of all pupils. 

Requirements

To be considered for the Early Years Phonics Intervention Teacher position, you will:

• Have had experience of supporting children with diverse needs. 

• Have experience of teaching Read, Write, Inc. 

• Hold a minimum of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Have an excellent work ethic and positive attitude towards teaching and learning.

• Be creative and enthusiastic towards delivering learning to the children.
