The Role

Little Wetherby at Edge Street is a new Nursery and is now seeking a new team of Early Years Practitioners.

The purpose of this role is to deliver educational programmes to children that support their development and learning through:

a) effective planning that identifies the intent of these programmes and

b) successful implementation strategies that demonstrate excellent quality teaching.

The School

Little Wetherby at Edge Street is a new Nursery opening in September 2023 which will be part of Wetherby Kensington School. It will prepare pupils for all the Alpha Plus schools in the local area, including Wetherby School, Wetherby Kensington, Pembridge Hall and Chepstow House School. Children who attend Little Wetherby at Edge Street will enjoy priority entry to all of those schools, compatibly with their respective admission policies.

Our mission is to provide an environment that promotes educational excellence and tradition through a forward-thinking, holistic curriculum within which the needs of individual pupils are fostered.

Wetherby Kensington will follow the same curriculum, share the same values and ethos and be an integral part of the Wetherby Group of schools. The school will be for boys from Reception through to Year 3 and will offer two form entry per year group. The boys will receive the same high levels of academic education and pastoral care currently found at Wetherby School.
