Early Years Practitioner X 2 posts

36 hours per week 

All Year Round 

Eastwood Nursery School Centre for Children & Families is looking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner to support our Day Nursery. You will be responsible to the Team Leaders and Headteacher in supporting a whole Centre approach to development and learning for all children with a particular focus on specific needs of children aged 8 weeks to 5 years. You will be part of a dynamic team of practitioners committed to the delivery of high-quality early years’ care and education in partnership with parents and family members.

In addition to developing the personal and professional role of the Early Years’ Practitioner. the following are essential criteria:

• NVQ Level 3 Qualification
• Sound working knowledge of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage 
• Good communication skills with an ability to  record and report on children’s progress in writing 
• Experience of working with children aged 0-5 years.
