Eastwood Day Nursery is looking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner. You will be responsible to the Day Nursery Manager and Team Leaders in supporting a whole Centre approach to development and learning for all children with a particular focus on the needs of children aged 8 weeks to 5 years. You will be part of a dynamic team of practitioners committed to the delivery of high-quality early years’ care and education in partnership with parents and family members.
In addition to developing the personal and professional role of the Early Years’ Practitioner. the following are essential criteria:
- Sound working knowledge of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Good communication skills with an ability to record and report on children’s progress in writing
- Experience of working with children aged 0-5 years. NVQ Level 3 qualification.
- NVQ Level 3 qualification.
