The International School of Geneva is a not-for profit Foundation which educates, on three campuses, over 4500 students of 140 different nationalities. The School has an excellent reputation for the quality and diversity of its education as well as for the talent and commitment of its teachers. Our Campus des Nations is an IB World School educating students from ages 3 to 18. Its Early Years school at Pregny has approximately 180 students aged 3 to 6 currently enrolled. The students are taught an innovative inquiry-based Primary Years Programme (PYP), and whilst the primary language of instruction is English, there is a strong French programme with many bilingual staff (English and French). The School also offers an extended support programme (ESP) for up to 8 children with moderate to severe special needs.

To lead our team at Pregny, we are looking for an Early Years Principal

Full-Time Position

Starting on 1st August 2017

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of outstanding leadership and senior management in Early Years and experience of the IB Primary Years Programme, preferably in an international setting as well as authentic experience in working with children with special needs.

As a member of the Foundation leadership team (Conférence des Directeurs), the Principal of Pregny works closely with the seven other School Principals and the directors of the Foundation led by the Director General. The Principal collaborates closely with the Primary School Principal of Campus des Nations, the Campus and Secondary Principal - to whom the role reports - and others to promote the excellence of our education and our successful strategic development.
