Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are ideally a Level 2 qualification in childcare and experience of supporting children in early years settings (Nursery or Primary).
Vision for Education is looking to appoint a EYFS Teaching Assistant / Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant / TA to join our successful supply team and work in a local primary school in Portishead.
This is a long-term EYFS Teaching Assistant / Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant / TA role which will commence as soon as possible until July 2022. This position will be full-time, and working hours will be 8:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday.
The role
Working as part of a dynamic and effective team, the successful EYFS Teaching Assistant / Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant / TA will focus on delivering support to pupils in EYFS / Early Years Foundation Stage. The successful applicant will be expected to be comfortable with the EYFS curriculum and will be able to deliver tailored support to individuals, Small groups and whole class when required.

Requirements
To be considered for the EYFS Teaching Assistant / Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant / TA position, you will:
• Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
• Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in EYFS / Early Years Foundation Stage
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
