ABC Teachers are recruiting for a reception teacher for a long-term position in Selly Oak, Birmingham.
The role will be a temporary 0.6 contract for a minimum of 1 term where you will be required to liaise effectively with the relevant phase leaders. You will work closely with a teaching assistant within the class to provide a creative and balanced education and you will ensure that every child has a consistent and secure environment to learn.
The school itself has a growing reputation and is overseen by a passionate Head Teacher who is continually looking to take the school to the next level of success. The school has undergone extensive refurbishment to improve the teaching and learning facilities to benefit all children and staff.
What to do next:
To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce. You will need to pay for this upfront, but once you are fully registered, have uploaded this onto the Update Service and have worked 1 full day with us then we will reimburse you the cost. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you.
We will need to gain references to cover the last 2 years, and a minimum of 2 references must be a school based. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
