A purpose built pre- school, situated in beautiful natural surroundings, located near downtown Bangkok. The area is full of greenery and has a tranquil atmosphere.
The school follows the EYFS and National Curriculum from the UK, for children from Crèche to the end of Key Stage 1 (18 months – 6 years).
Classrooms are purpose built and well resourced, with special in-door facilities such as a soft gym, library, ICT facilities and a room used for cookery classes. In addition out - door facilities are also purpose built, these include a swimming pool, splash pool, sand pit, playground, racing track and gardening area.
The school aims to provide the highest standard of Early Years Education in Bangkok. We provide a small, friendly and professional community atmosphere, with Continuing Professional Development for the teaching team central to our priorities.
The atmosphere in the classes is one of warmth and security, a place where children can grow in confidence ready to take on new challenges. Teachers work hard to create a stimulating environment through displays and by following the children’s interests.

Position: Early Years Teacher (Full Time) – Focus SEN and EAL whole school support
Kensington International Kindergarten seeks a fully qualified, experienced and inspirational Early Years teacher. We are looking for an energetic, motivated person who is passionate about childcare and education. Someone who is committed to achieving high standards and who is capable of creating a stimulating, positive and child- centered classroom ethos.
Requirements:
- Fluent English speaker
- BEd (Hons) with QTS/equivalent or Degree with PGCE
- EAL experience would be an advantage
- SEN experience would be an advantage
- EYs experience
- Year 1 experience would be an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in all areas of the school and would be expected to work collaboratively with the SENCo, lead teachers and support staff to plan and deliver effective provision and support in a number of areas:
- English language support (EAL) to children for whom English is an additional language in our over 3’s classrooms.
- SEN intervention and support under the direction and guidance of our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo)
- Provide regular classroom cover for colleagues’ management non-contact.
- Plan and deliver phonics clubs
The position will commence August 2017 and is full-time only.

- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to work as a part of a team in planning and implementing the school’s curriculum, strategic plans and policies.

Contract type: 24 months renewable contract
