Early Years Teacher

We are looking for an empowering, passionate and highly skilled Early Years Class Teacher to join our fabulous team.

You will be responsible for planning and implementing an enriched pre-school education within our Garden Play School philosophy.

Preferred qualifications and experience

-A strong understanding of and experience within play based, child led settings is essential as well as a good understanding of child development.

-Strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice and approaches to early childhood care and education.

-Minimum of two years’ teaching experience in a play based early years setting

-A diploma or other qualification in early childcare or child development related field, a BA in Early Childhood / Primary Education or a PGCE in Early Childhood/Primary

-Experience of teaching with the English non statutory guidance - Development Matters or other skill based Early Years curriculums is highly desirable.
