Vision for Education are working with a school in Stockport to appoint an energetic and creative Early Years Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 and supporting the classroom teacher. Starting in January 2022, the school welcomes applications from both newly qualified and more experienced candidates.
The role
As an Early Years Teacher, you should be able to provide a safe and happy environment for all pupils. The successful Early Years Teacher will promote positive behaviour and building strong foundations to help develop children's personal, social, language and physical coordination. Covering a maternity post, you will hold full responsibility so you would be expected to confidently observe, assess, and record each child's progress.

Holding just over 250 pupils, this school has excellent outdoor provisions to ensure that the early years students learn through play effectively. Senior leadership work in harmony with the other staff members to ensure the day run as seamlessly as possible.
Requirements
To be considered for the Early Years Practitioner role you must:
• Have previous experience of working in an Early Years setting- This is essential to be successful in this role.
• Minimum level two qualification or recent experience in EYFS
• Be adaptable and flexible
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
