Vision for Education are seeking to appoint an Early Years Teacher to work within a friendly and highly established primary school within the heart of Newcastle. This position will be based within their reception class, commencing as soon as possible up until December 2021 with the view to extend further across the academic year. Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. The minimum training, experience or qualifications required for this position is Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

The role

The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching within the Early Years sector. The school would ideally want an experienced teacher, however, NQT’s are welcomed to apply. The candidate will provide outstanding teaching and learning and have an enthusiastic and caring approach to learning. The candidate will be expected to fulfil all classroom duties, including planning, delivery of lessons and excellent provision for all within the setting.

The primary school sets high expectations and promotes outstanding behaviour from all. The candidate must ensure they continue to adhere to the school’s ethos and values and provide an exciting and interactive curriculum of which all pupils can progress and enjoy. 

Requirements

To be considered for the Early Years Teacher post, you will:

• Hold a minimum of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Have a genuine desire to work as part of a motivated team.

• Be committed to providing outstanding provision for the pupils within your care.

• Preferably have experience of working within Early Years.
