New River Green Children’s Centre is a natural oasis situated within an inner city borough. We are looking to recruit teachers with drive, vision and passion to teach our under-five year olds. Join our expanding nursery and work as part of a diverse, supportive and experienced multi-agency team.

We are looking to appoint two roles, one full time and one part time, and you will need to state in your application what role you will be applying for:

Grade: Teaching: Main Pay Range 1 - 6

Hours: Part Time 13 hours per week (2 days per week, days may be flexible for the right candidate)

About New River Green Children's Centre

New River Green Children's Centre is one of the nurseries directly managed by the council and is an inclusive centre offering care and education for children aged 6 months to 5 years. 

The Centre has 75 full-time places and is open 49 weeks a year, to suit working or studying parents. 

The Centre provides an environment that is inviting, stimulating and safe, where children can develop independence and enjoy learning experiences that are both interesting and challenging. 

The Centre also offers a range of support services for children and families, including stay and play sessions, toy libraries, training opportunities, advice sessions, speech and language therapist, baby clinics and a support group for young parents. 

There are many opportunities for parents to become involved in the life of the Centre. 

New River Green also has a great outdoor space and is open to families at weekends between 10.30am and 12.30pm
