A unique Special Needs school with a community feel, hidden away in the borough of Brent, North West London is recruiting through Smart Teachers for an Early Years / SEN Teacher. The successful Early Years Teacher / SEN Teacher will start as soon as possible and will be responsible for teaching a small ASD class of 7 students. Having just been rebuilt, this aesthetically pleasing school is filled with new resources that support diverse learning. Starting immediately, the Early Years Teacher / SEN Teacher will be offered a long term full time role until the end of the academic year, which encourages career progression and development through regular CPD training.

In order to be considered for this role, the Early Years Teacher / SEN Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • Have experience teaching ASD (essential)
  • Have experience teaching SEN (essential)
  • Have proven experience teaching in a UK-based classroom
  • NQT, experienced UK and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
