The School

GIS São Paulo opened in  February 2019 in a beautiful brand new school located in a central area of SãoPaulo.  

The school is part of a Swiss holding named Group of International Schools (GIS) which aims to found and develop a group of international schools designed to offer premium Education which inspires 21st century learning and intercultural understanding. 

Its goal is to provide expatriate and local families with an international education that is broad, balanced and challenging. GISSP is a candidate IB Primary Years Programme school.  It  offers a curriculum based on the IB values and practices, while the Early Years department is inspired by the Reggio Children approach.

The position 

We are looking for a passionate teacher with vision and ambition to contribute to our new Early Years department.  Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills to navigate and cultivate our new learning community since its own foundation are essential.

They will be a passionate educator and a committed team player who demonstrates a collegiate and collaborative approach to working with others. 

They will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong and positive relationships with all of the school’s stakeholders.

Person Specification

Applicants must be qualified teachers, with an internationally recognised teaching qualification in Early Years and/or Primary education. 

Candidates should have a proven record of high quality teaching and learning and should have experience of teaching in an IB PYP school or should demonstrate a philosophy and approach clearly aligned to the Primary Years Programme and the Reggio Children

The ideal candidate will have the following requirements: 

English mother tongue

Be a dynamic, flexible team player with high level interpersonal skills and excellent organisational ability.

Caring attitudes and a balance personality 

Add value to our positive and motivated staff team, in order to give students the best possible opportunity for success.

Take a proactive role in initiating activities to enhance the wider life of school

Remuneration Package

A competitive salary will be offered, along with free school tuition for school-age dependents. The package may include benefits such as free housing, Health care, flights and additional allowance.
