Status: Permanent and Temporary

Hours of work: 32.5hours per week for 39 weeks per year

Salary: £14,523 per annum  plus access to LGPS

Due to our outstanding school expanding further, we are looking for  Teaching  Assistants or Graduates wishing to pursue a career in teaching, to work alongside the classroom teachers in delivering the best possible outcomes for our children and community.

The ideal applicants will need an Early Years qualification or a degree if they aspire to train to be a teacher in the future and have experience of working with children.  We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking, creative practitioners, able to motivate pupils.  Suitable candidates will be confident in the Early Years Framework and have a good understanding of the core principles of Early Years education and care.  They will also be confident when working in a team to support children with additional needs.  

Successful candidates will join our Early Years team, working in the Nursery and Pre-school, with children aged 2-4.  It is essential to have key knowledge and experience across the Early Years Framework.

Applicants must have Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths GCSE, a good level of spoken English, be a good team member and be able to develop positive behaviour strategies with children. As a high performing school, we are able to provide you with excellent opportunities to develop further.

In addition, we are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking, creative practitioners, able to motivate pupils.

Please note that GCSE English and Maths A* - C (or equivalent) is required for this role and certificates will need to be produced at interview.
