Vision for Education are seeking to appoint an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their successful supply teaching team to work in a highly rated First School in Gosforth. This position is set to commence in January 2022, working full-time, supporting within Nursery. The school wish to employ a candidate who is outgoing, confident, and enthusiastic towards children’s learning and development. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is Level 3 Childcare Qualification. 

The role

The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting within Early Years, working alongside the teacher to create an exciting, dynamic, and encouraging learning environment. The Teaching Assistant will enjoy undertaking practical tasks with the children and be able to confidently interact with the children, including singing and dancing.

The Teaching staff set high expectations with regards to behaviour and academic achievements of which new staff members are expected to promote. 

Requirements

To be considered for the EYFS Teaching Assistant post, you will:

• Hold a minimum of Level 3 Childcare Qualification.

• Be committed to providing outstanding provision for the pupils within your care.

• Have experience of working within Early Years.

• Know a range of behaviour management strategies which can be implemented within the classroom.
