Early Years Teaching Assistant
A teaching assistant post will be opening in September in the Early Years Department at Hampton Court House, a co-educational school for pupils aged 3-18. The class sizes are small and the children enjoy a wide range of subjects including some lessons with specialist teachers and extra-curricular activities both indoors and outside. Starting in the Autumn Term, this is a full-time position Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm.
We are seeking an Early Years assistant who is responsible, dynamic and able to take initiative. The applicant should have a warm and nurturing personality and instil a love of learning to very young children.
Two significant parts of the role will be teaching children to read one-to-one and providing after school care. As reading is a significant part of this role it is important to be a good model of spoken English.
The ideal candidate would also have an Early Years qualification to at least a level 3 standard, however the option to attain this qualification whilst working may be available.
Please send a covering letter, your CV and a completed HCH application form to Anne-Françoise Ropert, Head of Early Years, firstname.lastname@example.org
Salary – negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications.
Start Date: September 2018.
