Job overview

At Cornerstone School, we’re looking for a compassionate, adaptable, and committed EBSA Teacher to support children experiencing Emotionally-Based School Avoidance (EBSA) through a unique hybrid model of home-based tuition and on-site support via The Haven – our dedicated, nurturing EBSA provision.

The successful applicant will provide personalised 1:1 teaching in students' homes, tailored to individual learning needs and emotional wellbeing. Alongside this you will plan and deliver small group sessions in The Haven, a safe space for gradual reintegration into school life.

You will collaborate with SEND teams, families, and external agencies to deliver holistic, trauma-informed education and promote resilience, self-esteem, and academic progress through therapeutic and creative teaching approaches.

This job will play a vital role in helping students re-engage with learning and flourish.

We're looking for someone who:
Is a qualified teacher (QTS) with a track record of excellent classroom practice
Demonstrates empathy, patience, and emotional resilience.
Understands the barriers faced by students with Autism and EBSA.
Can work flexibly across home and school settings (UK driving licence required).
Values inclusion and thrives in a collaborative, compassionate team culture.
