ECT P.E. Teacher

Are you passionate about teaching Physical Education and developing young people? 

Applications are invited from full time candidates for September 2025. The successful candidate will be an exceptional and committed teacher of PE, who will work within a supportive and dynamic department. As a key member of the team, the suitable candidate will support the Head of Department in promoting student learning and in all aspects of leading and managing the PE Department on a daily basis. The candidate will need to model best practice and provide guidance to the team on areas such as A- level, assessment and raising standards of student achievement and progress. You will have the ability to teach across the full range of age groups as well as have the desire to support and deliver change in the department. The successful candidate would be expected to support and enhance our extra-curricular programme, where netball proficiency would be a necessity and dance experience highly desirable. 

Our PE Department wishes to strengthen both our academic and sporting success. It is therefore vital that applicants have a desire to participate in both timetabled and extra-curricular activities.
