The main purpose of the role:
As Educational Administrator you will work collaboratively, professionally and effectively within all areas of the organisation as appropriate. The role will support the Deputy Head with any administration task including the administration of the pupils to assist with the smooth running of the school
Key duties:
- Send notifications, arrange and attend relevant pupil administration meetings, take minutes and write updates
- Complete PEPs and EHCP paperwork alongside teaching staff
- Work closely with SLT and the SENCo, ensuring records and data are up to date, compliant and in a presentable format
- Keep all data, systems and trackers up to date including PEP, CLA and EHCP
- Provide data for Ofsted inspections and ensure files are up to date with accurate and presentable information
- Support Hedgeway Care Homes in order that costings can be allocated accordingly
- Managing Pupil premium funds including liaison with Local authorities and teachers regarding resources , updating Pupil premium spreadsheet with new resources purchased, updating learning outcomes and regular learning updates linked to the resources from teachers
- Monitor the pupils attendance, liaise with local authorities to update them on a daily basis and report into monthly KPI’s adhering to each Local authority’s deadline
Duties will vary, you must expect to diversify and lend a hand wherever is required.

Successful candidate qualities:
Experience
- Experience of working in a school environment
- Experience of working with school databases
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, email and web and general office systems
Skills
- Adaptable, flexible approach to work
- Excellent organisation skills: ability to work in a busy and demanding environment
- Ability to work independently and effectively without supervision for longer periods of time and prioritise workload
- Commitment to service quality
- Ability to be discreet and protect confidentiality
