Smart Teachers is seeking an experienced Education Resourcer / Recruitment Resourcer to join its London headquarters. We are a reputable teacher recruitment agency where success and hard work are well rewarded. Due to the current Resourcer relocating, we are looking for an Education Resourcer / Recruitment Resourcer to work alongside a team of Consultants to generate suitable teachers and support staff, and to ensure these candidate files are cleared as efficiently as possible.

You will be the first point of contact for all new applicants, therefore we are looking for a professional individual who will be an ambassador for Smart and passionate about recruitment. Ideally, we are looking for an Education Resourcer / Recruitment Resourcer with recent administrator / compliance / resourcing experience within the education sector. We would also love to hear from qualified primary teachers and secondary teachers seeking a career shift to recruitment. You must be confident in self-management and able to work as part of a team. Starting immediately, this is a permanent position with a structured training and induction plan and the potential for fast track career progression.

About the Role:

• Education Resourcer / Recruitment Resourcer

• Candidate generation, writing adverts and searching CVs

• Conduct candidate interviews and ensure all paperwork is correctly completed 

• Focus on quality and efficient candidate vetting and clearing such as DBS, police and reference checks

• To ensure that all new candidates are cleared in accordance with the Safeguarding and Recruitment Policy guidelines

• Regularly update candidate files and ensure they are fully compliant 

• Work closely with the London consultants and overseas teams in managing candidate care 

• Permanent role starting immediately

• Generous salary starting at £25,000 plus commission structure

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with colleagues and candidates

• Independence, efficiency, and the capacity to self-manage and reach set targets

• Superb telephone manner and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and confident managing a high number of applicants at one time

• Good knowledge and understanding of education recruitment

• A focus on compliance

• Highly proficient using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM databases
