We have a Primary school (New Oaks) and a Secondary school (High Oaks). We are based across two different sites with both our school buildings offering state of the art facilities for our students.

Due to our continued expansion, we are looking for enthusiastic Classroom Support staff to join both our Primary and Secondary school, working with students who have Autism, and Complex Needs. As well as being calm and patient, you will need good team working skills and be passionate about supporting students with special educational needs. Applicants must be physically fit and willing to undertake all aspects of personal care including toileting and feeding. We believe that all of our students are capable of making outstanding progress and we want to appoint individuals who share this belief. Please refer to the person specification and job description for full details of the role and the essential knowledge and skills required.

We value our employees and offer excellent training and support as well as a pension scheme, employee assistance programme and many other well-being benefits. These include our onsite gym, showering facilities and coffee shop with discounted barista coffee at our Gresham Road site.

Oaklands is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and anyone applying to work at the school is expected to share this commitment. This position is subject to a satisfactory fully enhanced DBS check and references being received. Social Media checks will be carried out on shortlisted candidates. All positions are subject to the satisfactory completion of a 26 working week probation period.

Details of this post are available on the school’s website: www.oaklands.hounslow.sch.uk. Visits to the school are welcome. Please contact Rany Kalsi, HR manager for an appointment on 0208 560 3569 (option 3).
