Situated within the new East Village complex, the Academy serves the community to be established in 2,800 new homes, along with existing communities in Newham, Waltham forest and nearby London Boroughs. In July 2015 Chobham Academy was graded as an Outstanding school in every category.

Chobham Academy is founded on a powerful vision and forward thinking ethos and provides a high quality, challenging and personalised education for boys and girls between the ages of three and eighteen. Our targets for student attainment and achievement are aspirational and stem from our unwavering belief that every child can, and will, achieve excellence.

The Academy accommodates day care facilities and nursery, a 3 form of entry primary phase, 6 form entry secondary and large sixth form as well as offering adult learning and a comprehensive lifelong learning programme to meet the needs of the local communities. Each educational phase benefits from superb purpose built accommodation and state of the art facilities. As an all-through Academy we provide unique opportunities for nurturing and developing excellence for the local community.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Education Welfare Officer to oversee both primary and secondary phases as part of our all through Academy. You will be joining a highly experienced team at the Federation's flagship Academy. You will need a previous track record of experience in a similar role within a school environment, dealing with children from all backgrounds. We also require someone with excellent skills in Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook. Previous School office experience is essential as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
