Title: Educational Software Consultant (Literacy)
LexiaUK Ltd is a market-leading literacy skills solution provider who seek an Educational Software Consultant as part of a growing team. We work with over 3,500 schools nationwide and are highly regarded when it comes to providing research-proven, engaging, and time-efficient literacy skills solutions. Applications are welcome from all educational disciplines as full training will be provided in this rewarding and varied role.
Office-based, and as part of a dedicated team, you will support primary and secondary school educators in making an informed decision on Lexia products. This will involve telephone consultations, online demonstrations and training and support to school leaders and their staff.
This role is ideal for an English teacher, teaching assistant, literacy lead or SENCO to use their existing skills to help develop children’s reading skills with market-leading software.
*We offer a generous renumeration package and evidence to support OTE figures can be provided at interview stage.

Duties / Responsibilities:
- Support schools in making an informed decision on Lexia products.
- Provide online consultations, demonstrations, and training sessions.
- Maintain close, regular contact with enquirers.
- Provide telephone advice and support.
- Give pricing information, negotiate, and agree a tailored literacy solution.
- Develop new business through existing relationships.
- Occasionally visit schools and attend trade shows/exhibitions.
Job Abilities:
Essential:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Adaptable - to meet the demands of the role.
- Good ICT skills including Excel, Word, Teams.
- Required to take holidays out of school term time.
- Working with schools, you will be required to pass a DBS check.
Desirable:
- Has worked in education (Teacher, Teaching Assistant, Literacy Lead, SENCO, Adviser).
- Experience in delivering web-based training.
- Experience in Lexia software and/or how children learn to read.
