Derby College are continuously recruiting to their expanding "OFSTED Outstanding" Inclusion and Support Team.      


We offer a huge range of support to learners across our college on all college sites.      


If you are positive, motivated and ready to learn new skills and be a role model we'd love to hear from you.      


You will need to work from a Socially Inclusive perspective and be able to apply socially inclusive principles to a range of learners!     


We will be recruiting specialist Education Support Workers to support learners in:      


ESOL curriculum - ideally you will have ESOL experience, either as a learner or as support in an education setting. We support a range of both 16-18 and 19+ learners to develop their English and maths ability in order to support them to progress into Further Education and work.      


Inclusion Curriculum (LLDD Inclusion Curriculum) - you will have an affinity to work with young people (16-24) who have more complex inclusion needs. Our support enables them to access a range of community activities and challenge themselves to learn a variety of skills towards a meaningful adult life.      


Education Support Workers - Cross College Support - you will support learners working across all academic levels, we support from Entry Level 3 to Level 4 and above!      


Learners access support for a range of Inclusion needs and key areas for support have been for Dyslexia, Mental Health Difficulties and Autism Spectrum Conditions.

Derby College is a large general further education college with four sites in or near the city of Derby. It supports around 26,000 learners, who choose from more than 1,000 full-time and part-time apprenticeship, A-level, BTEC and NVQ courses.   

Derby College was established as a single institution in 2002 by merging three further education colleges: Mackworth Tertiary College, Wilmorton Tertiary College and Broomfield Agricultural College. A merger between South East Derbyshire College and Derby College was approved in 2010. Heavy investment has been made by the college in its teaching and learning facilities, from the fully equipped teaching kitchens at the Roundhouse campus to the high-tech science labs at the Joseph Wright Centre and the Equestrian Centre at the Broomfield Hall campus.
