We are currently recruiting a talented and strategic Educational Technology Lead to drive EdTech integration across our whole school.

This high-impact role provides a unique opportunity to drive transformative change and deliver high-quality learning experiences in an international context.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will lead the strategic vision for technology across the whole school, with duties including, but not limited to:
  • EdTech Strategy: Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive EdTech strategy that aligns with curriculum development and enhances pedagogical practice across all departments.
  • Curriculum Integration: Collaborate with curriculum leaders and the IT department to ensure the seamless integration of innovative technology into all BISJ pedagogical practices.
  • Research and Innovation: Research, identify, and evaluate new EdTech opportunities, conducting proof of concept, demonstrations, and user acceptance testing to enhance classroom learning.
  • Professional Development: Lead the professional development of all classroom teachers in the effective and strategic use of educational technology, encouraging relevant professional learning and industry-recognised certifications.
  • Policy and Governance: Develop and implement necessary policies related to technology in learning and teaching, including digital safety, cybersecurity, and data management.
  • Project Leadership: Lead multiple EdTech projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines, budgets, and available resources.
  • Partnership Management: Build strong relationships with external partners, industry experts, and vendors to identify new trends and opportunities for innovation.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching or Information Technology or a related related discipline from a recognised institution.
  • Proven ability in a similar EdTech leadership/delivery role, with a strong track record in the successful implementation and delivery of new EdTech products and services.
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of Windows or MacOS, and expert command of the Microsoft suite of office applications and Google Workspace.
  • Strong command of the English language, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of dependability, self-motivation, and attention to detail, with a solution-focused approach to problem-solving
  • A proven commitment to professional growth, working collaboratively and supporting student success.
  • A strong set of values that align with our BISJ vision and mission.

  • Demonstrated experience in continual process improvements and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Experience working collaboratively as a key member of a Technology Committee.
